The article focuses on studying the creative activity of Isatay Isabayev, an outstanding graphic artist, one of the leading figures of art in Kazakhstan. The author examines the artist’s illustrations through the prism of the literary heritage of the great philosopher Abai Kunanbayev, as well as the deep connection between his worldview and the philosophy of the Kazakh thinker. The interest of this article lies in the importance of studying the cultural heritage of two profoundly national creators as the foundation of traditional culture and a source of inspiration for the art of the future.
