Аn international conference of the Russian society of color was held in December 2020 in the online format. Researchers from 49 countries took part in its work. The discussion focused on understanding the role of color and color communication in culture, art, and other areas of human life. The discussion was conducted in the field of systematization of current problems and identification of new trends in scientific research in coloristics. Five sections were organized to discuss the psychology and sociology of color, the linguistics of color, the role of color in art and design, as well as in science and technology. In modern scholarship, it is a unique large-scale multidisciplinary project of this type.
