Modern ideas about religion affect not only its “classical”, i.e. traditional formations, but also secular quasi-formations – civil religion (J.J. Rousseau). The logic of their reasoning boils down to the following: once purely religious Judeo-Christian content in the process of evolution receives secular aspects of its existence and acts as a civil religion. As a result, Judeo-Christian messianic ideas began to have a quasi-religious character. In Soviet ideology, such a worldview transformation was actualized as the sacralization of the characters of Soviet history: instead of the Christian faith in the Holy Trinity, there appeared faith in the communist “Trinity”, represented by the images of Marx – Lenin – Stalin.
