The article studies Jesuits’ practice of the realization of international communication strategies in Asia end of 16th – beginning of 17th centuries. The strategies developed by Jesuits were aimed at strengthening of the influence of Western civilization on the East. The article deals with the specific soft formation of «West – East» inter cultural discussion in missionary activities promoted by Francis Xavier and Antoni de Montserrat under Oda Nobunaga’s rule in Japan and Akbar’s Mughal Empire.
