The article deals with the art critical category of the “author’s identity” in relation to human composers and non-human music neural networks described in terms of philosophic concepts of David Bloor’s “strong program of knowledge” and Bruno Latour’s “actor-network theory”. The research methodology implies historical-genetic and critical analysis of philosophic concepts of music and the identity of its authors, reflected in the theoretical concepts of ancient Greek philosophers and developed by Vienna scholars, that led the critical theory to the ideas of de-humanization of the author’s identity in art, as declared by Blur and Latour.
