Modern society is developing in the conditions of global instability, which provokes intensive linguistic changes. The emergence of new communication channels, accel-erated information exchange, the formation of original forms of creativity and its partial automation transform the usual understanding of the phenomenon of crea-tivity. Particular attention today should be paid to language experiments in the con-text of modern information technologies that change the current communication relations within the framework of the binomial “human being – machine”. Active implementation of artificial intelligence systems to imitate human creative processes and generate original texts requires a revision of classical approaches to the study of the phenomenon and a reorganization of the general theory and practice of creative activity. This paper is an attempt to understand and analyze the phenomenon of linguistic creativity in its ontological and axiological aspects in the era of artificial intelligence.
