The paper proposes an approach which helps to find the cooperative potential of conflict during speech interaction between conflicting interlocutors. It is emphasized that presenving speech spontaneity in conflict is one of the crucial steps towards the shaping of the conflict situation in speech. The author highlights the need for maintaining difference in the communicants’ opinions, diverse forms of communicative manifestations of conflict as one of the key aspects of the conflictability. The paper discusses mechanisms of speech intervention in conflict with the aim of discovering the cooperative potential of conflict interaction and searching for accessible forms of shared activity.
