The article is devoted to the representation of sculptural art works in the poems of I.F. Annensky, N.S. Gumilev, A.A. Akhmatova and G.V. Ivanov. They are poets whose appeal to the images of sculpture lies in line with G.V. Ivanovʼs poem of intermediality, consonant with the idea of synthesis of arts so popular in that period. The purpose of this article is to trace the features of the embodiment of a plastic image in a poetic word. Most of the poems dedicated to sculpture by the poets who belong to the “Petersburgʼs text” of Russian literature.
