This article touches upon the development of environmental principles via the case of Bjarke Ingels Group architectural projects, namely the concepts of “pragmatic utopia”, “functionality 2.0”, and “10 gifts of architecture”. The purpose of the review is to determine the strategy for applying said principles and their elements in the field of education, teaching and research activities, tutor-student collaboration. With argumentation, special attention is paid to the practices implemented at the National Research University “Higher School of Economics” to illustrate the implementation of the analyzed phenomena, their role in the emergence of a single cognitive system among people and the environment.
