Abstract

The Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Kadashi is a historical and cultural monument of federal significance belonging to the Moscow Baroque period. It used to be the compositional dominant and the cathedral church of Zamoskvorechye, which determined the main town-planning axis of Moscow. Since 1992 the parish has been creating a cultural landscape of its territory taking into account its historically shaped features. The restoration which is being carried out at the moment aims to achieve better landscape planning of the territory while preserving the positive solutions that have been found so far. For this purpose, a general landscape plan has been drawn up.
