Abstract

This article studies the trend of combining multi-level landscape solutions of ex-tended open spaces with the traditional space of the city street. The author examines examples of the transformation of a street as an archetypal planning cell of a 20th-century city, located at the main level of the “groundˮ, into more complex nature-oriented open spaces of the city of the new digital era. At the same time, some re-gional features and techniques of working with space are highlighted, caused by both established traditions and the climatic diversity of different regions, forming a new image of the local identity of the urban environment.

Keywords
